Port of Churchill:
Northern
Canada’s Gateway to The World
Strategically located on Hudson Bay, the Port of Churchill has vast potential
to stimulate increased flows of cost-effective global trade. The Port's location
is ideal for shipping products to and from the expanding and increasing interdependent
economies of Europe, Russia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. This
capability is tied to rail service via the Hudson Bay Railway with pervasive
connections throughout North America via the Canadian National Railway system.
The immense potential of this Port will be spotlighted at the G8 gathering
of world leaders in Moscow in the summer of 2006. Mike Ogborn, Managing Director,
OmniTRAX, is President of the Churchill Gateway Development
Corporation. mogborn@omnitrax.com
